TokyWoky & Superdrug shortlisted for Best Community Hub (Glossy Awards)

We’re excited to be shortlisted for Best Community Hub at the 2020 Glossy Awards for our partnership with Superdrug, the UK’s top beauty, health and skincare retailer!

Every year, Glossy honors the beauty industry’s best and most innovative campaigns. Other 2020 award nominees include Benefit Cosmetics, Sephora and EOS.

TokyWoky has been nominated for its work with Superdrug on launching their online community that lets customers test beauty products, share reviews, beauty tips and advice.

 

Transforming Superdrug into the #1 beauty destination

Superdrug aims to become the #1 beauty destination in the UK for online beauty and skincare shoppers. Creating a differentiating experience and building an engaged community of like-minded beauty fans plays a key role in this.

Launched in late 2019, the beauty retailer now counts over 6,000 actively engaged customers!

Superdrug initially launched with product testing (100s of products have been tested and reviewed), live community chat (1,000s of questions are asked every month by Superdrug shoppers), discussion channels and extensive gamification features. They plan on introducing new features over the next months as their community grows.

Congrats to our fellow finalists

Versed and Then I Met You are two impressive community-first brands. I particularly like how Versed uses text to connect with and help their community, and how Then I Met You (from Soko Glam co-founder Charlotte Cho) focuses on helpful content like tutorials and skincare tips.

 

What's next?

We'll find out if we won at the Glossy Awards gala in New York this Summer.
